Are Democrats SERIOUSLY going to vote for this guy?
At a recent CNN Town Hall, 2020 presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders called Fidel Castro educating people and China’s government “taking more people out of extreme poverty than any country in history” a good thing.
According to Breitbart, Sanders said, “[W]hen Fidel Castro first came to power…he initiated a major literacy program. There [were] a lot of folks in Cuba at that point who were illiterate, and he formed a literacy brigade…they went out and they helped people learn to read and write. You know what? I think teaching people to read and write is a good thing. I have been extremely consistent and critical of all authoritarian regimes all over the world, including Cuba, including Nicaragua, including Saudi Arabia, including China, including Russia. I happen to believe in democracy, not authoritarianism. But, you know, you can’t say — China is another example. China is an authoritarian country, becoming more and more authoritarian. But can anyone deny — I mean, the facts are clear, that they have taken more people out of extreme poverty than any country in history.”
He then said those individuals in Florida who condemned his praise of Castro, “just so happen to be supporting other candidates, just accidentally, no doubt, coincidentally.” You can watch a clip of Sanders’ comments here.

Bernie needs a nice soft padded room, in a locked facility. This man is off his rocker, and anyone that votes for him can get a room right next to his. Look at his, so called, crowds, they are all young, or black or Hispanic with their hands out at the expense of the rest of us. The democraptic party really needs to pull the chain on this POS and flush him down the crapper. Bye Bye Bernie. You won’t be missed.
Sure, Bernie, China took more out of poverty than anyone else. The problem is that they took them from poverty to mass graves. The dead are no longer in poverty. Bernie Sanders, you are one sick individual.
well then crazy bernie read my lips “you will never be president here better try Cuba or china”.
