Is this supposed to bring the country together?
According to Fox News, South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace decried the social distancing protocols that resulted in her not being able to attend President Joe Biden’s first joint address to Congress.
“We’re paid a significant sum of money to do a job and work, and we should all have the opportunity to be there tonight,” she said. “It’s a disservice to the country, especially when it’s during a time when you want to unify and bring people together.”
Only 200 members of the House of Representatives and Senate were in attendance, while the rest watched from their homes.
