5 Rural Counties In Oregon Had Enough Of Liberals, Voted For This
5 rural counties in the state of Oregon recently voted to do something momentous.
Voters in those states were asked to vote on whether to consider seceding from Oregon and becoming a part of Idaho.
In all 5 counties, they voted yes.
A few months back, several counties in far-left Oregon began an effort to secede from the state and become part of Idaho.
Now they have voted for it. It’s not a done deal yet, but they are off to a strong start.
These are simply people who are tired of being associated with the radical left-wing politics of Portland. The Gateway Pundit
When urban centers like Portland dictate Oregon’s state-wide policies by turning it blue through sheer numbers, it’s no surprise conservatives take things into their own hands…
The local measures are backed by Move Oregon’s Border for a Greater Idaho, a local organization that wants to grow Idaho west and south into some counties in Northern California.
“This election proves that rural Oregon wants out of Oregon. If Oregon really believes in liberal values such as self-determination, the Legislature won’t hold our counties captive against our will,” said Mike McCarter, a conservative activist who heads the group. “If we’re allowed to vote for which government officials we want, we should be allowed to vote for which government we want as well. The Gateway Pundit
Unfortunately, the liberal State Legislature doesn’t care about what conservatives think, but pressure is building in these rural counties.
There’s even talk of a ‘Greater Idaho’…
Conservatives and liberals should peacefully separate.
It’s the liberals who will try to stop that, because they want to control everyone and everything.
Conservatives need to resist that, and maintain their independence.
