This is a disgusting move by liberals to try and push their narrative.
No one politicizes a tragedy with the speed and viciousness of Democrats who want to make a name for themselves.
And on cue, after the shooting that killed one and injured three at a California synagogues, Democrats gave their hot takes and they were a drumbeat against guns.
“Thoughts and prayers to all of those affected by the shooting at the Synagogue in Poway, California. God bless you all. Suspect apprehended. Law enforcement did outstanding job. Thank you!” President Donald Trump said, which angered Rep. Eric Swalwell.
“Spare us your thoughts and prayers. It’s an alibi for inaction. You told the NRA yesterday you’d keep dangerous guns in the hands of dangerous people. We will take it from here with action,” Rep. Swalwell said.
““Our hearts as a country are beating for the victim and those who are recovering. And it just — it’s still hard to imagine people who went there to pray and left running for their lives,” he said on CNN.
“But if you really start to think about it, it’s not hard to imagine at all. We are in a country where we have unrestricted weaponry and we have growing hate groups where we see a failure of leadership to denounce them,” he said.’’
“Heartbroken to hear of the San Diego synagogue shooting, particularly so on this final day of Passover,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said.
“We have a responsibility to love + protect our neighbors.
“The longer the Senate delays holding a vote on #HR8, the more we put Americans at risk,” she said.
“My heart is breaking after today’s deadly shooting at Chabad Congregation in San Diego—on the last day of Passover and 6 months to the day after the Tree of Life shooting.
“We as a nation must confront the terrifying rise of religious hate and violence,” Rep. Ilhan Omar said. “Love trumps hate.”
“Love is the answer, love is the way and yes less gun!” she said with the hashtag “#nomorethoughtsandprayers.”
