In a recent episode of “Fox & Friends,” presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway is taking Rep. Adam Schiff to task for his role with Democrats in pushing the idea that President Trump colluded with Russia.
“He ought to resign today,” Conway said. “He’s been on every TV show for the last two years promising Americans that this president would be impeached or indicted.”
Conway declared that Democrats, including Schiff, “owe America an apology” for suggesting that Trump was guilty of impeachable crimes.
She was particularly outraged over Schiff constantly claiming to have evidence of Russian collusion, now that those claims have been proven to be a lie.
“He has no right as somebody who has been peddling a lie day after day after day unchallenged and not under oath,” Conway argued. “Somebody should’ve put him under oath and said, ‘Do you have evidence? Where is it?’
Conway’s comments are just an example of the growing national opinion that Democrats should be the ones under investigation now. Turn about is fair play after all.
