This had to happen…
Veteran character actor Robert Davi claims he has been contacted constantly and provided job for public denunciation of President Donald Trump.
“They said, ‘What do you want?,’ Davi said in an interview Fox News’ Laura Ingraham:
“I’ve been offered, by other people in the industry, at certain points, to denounce Trump, and they said, ‘What do you want?’ They said, ‘What do you want? You’d be on every talk show, everything. You want to do stuff?’”
Davi said, because of his conservative views, he was also denied jobs:
“It’s happened so many times, people have told me: ‘The director wanted to use you, but it knows he can’t.’ That happens to several.”
Davi, who has featured in over a hundred movies, including the famous action film “Die Hard” and the James Bond thriller “License to Kill,” said he would like to see Hollywood executives hold a conference and agree to avoid giving work to individuals who do not share their political opinions:
“I’m not complaining about it. It’s just something that I wish the elder of Hollywood, like Norman Lear and Clint Eastwood – opposing points of view – would call a meeting and say, ‘You know, what we shouldn’t be doing this in Hollywood.’’’
“It’s never going to happen,” Ingraham replied, calling Hollywood liberals “the most intolerant people when it comes to ideology.” “They are not for diversity – they’re for their type of diversity,” Ingraham added.
