If she continues down this road, she will end her own career…
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called out her fellow Democrats in a tweet for turning a blind eye to President Donald Trump and his impeachment.
At this point, the bigger national scandal isn’t the president’s lawbreaking behavior – it is the Democratic Party’s refusal to impeach him for it.

Comments from the freshman Democrat came after Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) tweeted Friday that Congress “had a duty” to initiate impeachment proceedings against Trump following the report by former special counsel Robert Mueller. And the Congress accused Trump of being “complicit.”
After the Mueller report, Congress had a duty to begin impeachment. By failing to act, Congress is complicit in Trump’s latest attempt to solicit foreign interference to aid him in US elections. Do your constitutional duty and impeach the president.

Despite Ocasio-Cortez and Warren’s calls, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took a more cautious approach, calling impeachment “a divisive approach.”
Pelosi suggested that Democrats should look at all the facts before coming to a conclusion about moving forward with impeachment proceedings.
The rise in Democratic calls for impeachment stems from a U.S. intelligence official’s August whistleblower complaint among Democrats ‘ efforts to learn more about Trump’s ties to Ukraine. These same Democrats try to get the complaint ahold.
Trump acknowledged having discussed an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden with the Ukrainian president while talking to reporters on Saturday’s trips to Texas and Ohio.
“The conversation I had was largely congratulatory, with largely corruption– all of the corruption taking place– and largely the fact that we don’t want our people like Vice President Biden and his son creating to the corruption already in the Ukraine,” Trump stated.
